Well dress me pink and call me Barbie – Don’t you dare!

So today is the day we signed up for the half-marathon and being it is in aide of breast care and cancer research (and it’s for women only…as all important things should be!) everyone will be given a pink t-shirt and a pack for joining etc.

Miss Piggy was the one who suggested we go as a group which turned out to be only 4 hours in the office (but there is about another 10 from another department joining us) which consists of Miss Piggy of course, me, Foo Foo and Annie Sue.  However, after a conversation on the QT with Annie Sue it was decided that we didn’t actually want to walk with Miss Piggy; we can’t stand her in the office let alone socially.  However, she and Foo Foo are like two peas in the pod (despite Foo Foo only bringing her into her office so she could keep an eye on her) and since they have some rubber rings around their waists they want to lose, suddenly they’re best friends.  Isn’t office politics amazing?  It’s like being at high school deciding who you like and dislike for the day; it gets boring very quickly.

Anyway, I digress.  Annie Sue and I don’t do pink but Miss Piggy thinks we will be wearing neon pink tutu’s and leg warmers; can I hear a ‘hell no!’?  There are staged starting times and Annie Sue and have ‘accidentally’ ticked a later start time and ‘accidentally’ written a different team name, aren’t we cruel?

I’m sure we’ll get busted by the rest of the office at some point but the two words ‘clerical error’ seem to be quite comforting.  2 huge hills, 2000 women and a bacon sandwich at the end of it?  BRING IT ON!

I wish neon colors would just exit the fashion industry and never come back.

It’s amazing what I would do for a bacon sandwich.

LiLu – It’s an updated version from the carrot on a stick! And a little bling every now and then? More like every couple of weeks :-)

Cheryl – Never mind it exiting from the fashion industry, I would like to go back in time and seriously hurt the person who invented neon!
